Thermilate has been independently tested and scientifically proven by world leading laboratories and government bodies. Thermilate has also been featured on a popular BBC science programme." Thermilate is one of the fastest growing simple to use, yet effective energy saving product available. Over the last 5 years, Thermilate has already become distributors to over 20 countries, and is rapidly expanding. It is used both domestically and commercially, and can be used almost anywhere you can apply paint/coatings. Thermilate is also used in hot countries on the exterior of buildings to reflect heat out and keep the inside cooler.
Thermilate is made up of Insulating Ceramic Microspheres - What are these? Insulating energy saving Ceramic Microspheres were developed by NASA to combat the high temperatures encountered by the space shuttle on re-entry. Each Ceramic Microspheres is a tiny ball around 75 microns wide. They reflect and refract heat like the tiles on the space shuttle.
It is a known fact that NOTHING can travel via conduction through a vacuum, not even heat. The resulting microsphere is, in effect, a mini thermos flask. On internal walls and ceilings this reduces heat loss, creating a warmer room. On external walls and roofs, this reflects the heat from the sun, creating a cooler internal room.Click here to buy onlineHow do they work when mixed in paint? Thermilate even gives excellent energy savings, even when used on well insulated walls.
This thermal photo shown opposite will explain a little more about heat loss. The areas of most loss are coloured white or red, and the least areas of heat loss are shown in black. There are THREE flats in the image, the top one has been insulated with Thermilate below the windows, which are shown as the two black sections in the diagram. Once the walls have been coated with the Thermilate paints, the heat is reflected back inside the room, instead of the heat escaping through the walls like the flats below. How Does Thermilate Additive Reduce Condensation? Thermilate Additive has the same effect with the warm air from your heating system, reflecting it back into the room instead of the heat being drawn to the colder surface of the wall, and escaping. The contact between the warm air and the cold wall is dramatically reduced once Thermilate Additive is applied. Therefore the production of water droplets and condensation is dramatically reduced if not totally eliminated. Why Does Condensation Occur? Click here to buy online |

A thermal imager actually takes an image of heat loss and is demonstrated in an image that varies in colour, these colours represents the variant in heat loss.
